Hyland Power Dialer — Privacy Policy

What the extension is

The Hyland Power Dialer is a browser softphone and call-presence tool used by authorized Hyland Group staff. It places calls, logs call outcomes to the team's FollowUpBoss CRM, and reports whether an agent is currently on a call to the team's internal dashboard.

What it accesses and why

• FollowUpBoss pages — reads the contact/list context and call-bar state on followupboss.com so the dialer can queue the right contacts and detect active calls.
• The Hyland portal (portal.hylandgroupre.com) — reads your signed-in session token so the extension can act as you, and sends call outcomes, notes, and on-call presence to the portal.
• REDX / WAVV pages — detects when a dial starts and whether a call connects, to report on-call presence.
• Browser permissions — storage (caches your session and settings), tabs and sidePanel (opens the dialer surface), cookies (reads your authenticated portal/FollowUpBoss session), scripting and host access (runs the small helper scripts above), and webRequest (observes REDX dial events for presence — read-only, no blocking).

Where data goes

All data the extension sends goes only to the team's own systems: the Hyland portal and FollowUpBoss. Nothing is sold, shared with advertisers, or sent to any third party beyond the CRM and telephony providers the team already uses to run its business. The extension does not track browsing history and does not read pages other than the work sites listed above.

Retention and access

Call records and outcomes are retained in FollowUpBoss and the Hyland portal under the team's normal business-records practices. Access is limited to authorized Hyland Group staff. Questions: matt@hylandgroupre.com.
